Jakob Kinde

Jakob is currently chairman of BRL and a Swedish national with some 38 years of investment banking experience. Began his career with Samuel Montagu & Co Ltd (now HSBC Investment Banking) in 1982 to the end of 1985. In 1983 he founded Fil à Fil Ltd, a shirt retail business, of which he was Managing Director through to 1987 when the business was sold to Next plc. From September 1987 to 1999 he worked at Kleinwort Benson where he held several senior positions including Managing Director and Head of the Nordic Corporate Finance as well as Natural Resources & Forestry Sector. In 1999 he became a Director/ shareholder/co-founder of NewMedia Investors Ltd/ Spark Ventures plc. In September 1999 he co-founded and was CEO of EO plc, an online share distribution platform.
He was also a co-founder of AllIPO plc. In November 2002 he founded Libertas Capital and was Executive Chairman of Libertas Capital Group plc from 2003 to 2009 and was until August 2011 the Senior Partner of Libertas Partners LLP. In 2011, he founded Noble Tree Property Asset Management Ltd which is now owned 100% by Noble Tree Foundation Limited (a UK registered charity focusing on housing for vulnerable people of which he is the co-founder, CEO and a trustee. Since July 2012 he is the chairman of Boustead Agriculture Ltd. Since December 2013 he is a Senior Adviser to European American Capital, a FCA regulated firm, and chairman of Boustead & Co Ltd. He has completed over $60 bn of a wide range of corporate finance transactions of which $6bn have been in the renewable energy sector. He holds a Certified Diploma in Accountancy and Finance (C.Dip.A.F.), is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (M.C.S.I.) and has a B.Sc (Econ) from University College London
He was also a co-founder of AllIPO plc. Founder and CEO of Watt-Tariff. He is also a geologist specialising in the energy sector and a member of the Singularity University and Long Now Foundation. He’s overseen many grid scale renewable energy projects from planning through to sale and generation. With a keen interest in AI and coding, Peter is the creator of the Watt-Tariff concept and platform.

Shahrukh is award winning Senior Level Executive with over 23 years’ experience in Board and CEO roles in private and public listed companies. He established Oracle Power PLC as the first Pakistan-focussed natural resources and energy company listed on the London Stock Exchange, pioneered the development of US$1.7bn integrated coal mine & power generation project and included the company as first British-led energy project in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (“CPEC”) under China’s Belt & Road Initiative (“BRI”). With the interaction at government level, he has strong understanding of the intricacies of interstate economic-relations.
Shahrukh has led teams of 10-50+ people in a multi-cultural environment. He has strong business judgement with expertise in leading and managing companies, conducting deal analysis and capital raising on potential investment targets, listing companies on the public stock exchange, and project finance in the natural resources and energy sector. He has a wide network of relationships with UHNW, private and public financial institutions, predominately from Europe, SE Asia, South Asia and the Middle East. Originated and sourced partnership with multi-national corporations and state-owned enterprises in developing large-scale energy-related projects. He has spoken at various Leadership Forums as keynote panel speaker recognising his leadership and entrepreneurship in developing companies.

Aamir joined BRL in 2022 and is a seasoned investment banker and experienced board director. He has some 25 years of investment banking experience in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, having worked in both bulge bracket and mid cap institutions.
Between 1996-2003, Aamir worked in the Corporate Finance Advisory division of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in London advising some of the bank's highest profile M&A and capital markets clients. In 2000, he spent most of the year seconded to the bank's Tokyo office. He moved to Libertas Capital Group plc in 2003 where he successfully built its capital markets practice in London, completing over a dozen IPOs, and relocating to its Dubai office in late 2007 where he built up a network of SWFs and Family Offices across the GCC and Asia regions until he left in 2011.
After a short stint with MAC Capital Ltd (2011-2013), a DFSA regulated mid-cap investment bank in Dubai, Aamir was appointed Managing Director at Teneo Capital, the New York headquartered advisory and investment banking firm where he was responsible from 2014-2018 for the group's GCC, Africa and Asia coverage. Aamir left Teneo to join as executive director a privately owned investment holdings company with equity interests in public and private companies across several geographies and industry sectors including mining, healthcare, consumer and real estate.
During his career, Aamir has completed over US$20bn in M&A and capital market transactions across a number of industry sectors globally. Between 2005 and 2010, he was a qualified Nominated Adviser for the purposes of admissions to London's AIM Market, and has sat on the board of a number of public companies. Aamir began his career at PWC in London where he qualified as a chartered accountant and remains a member of the ICAEW. He graduated in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Justin is a chartered accountant with over 30 years professional experience in financial services, renewable energy, and infrastructure. Having trained in London, he spent 3 years in Hong Kong with KPMG on a range of clients from manufacturing, property development, and agriculture through to banking and corporate finance. This included audit, M&A, and restructuring.
On his return to London Justin joined Barclays Bank, initially at group level in the finance team, but then moved to the newly established private client team, and was instrumental in helping establish Barclays Private Bank, where he became Finance Director. After several years at Barclays, Justin went to ABN AMRO, where he was UK Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial oversight of all global investment banking businesses. This was followed by a move to Alliance Bernstein (“AB”), an asset manager headquartered in New York and listed on the NYSE. AB had approximately $800 billion of assets under management. Justin was European CFO, based in London with teams in London and Luxembourg. The European operations had AUM of approx. $120 billion. For the last 7 years, he has run his own company engaged in financing renewable energy and infrastructure projects and was involved in selling 1GW of solar energy projects in the USA in 2019 working as CFO for Alpin Sun.

Graham is a corporate finance specialist with worldwide experience and a focus on natural resources. He holds an MA in mathematics from Oxford University and a PhD also in mathematics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He worked at BP plc’s corporate finance and corporate planning divisions, and later was Director of Corporate Finance at Chase Manhattan Bank and Managing Director at Banque Indosuez.
Subsequently he has focused on investments in the oil, gas and mining and, in more recent years, in renewables and alternative energy industries worldwide.
In 2018, he formed Solar Mountain Resource LLC with Steve Veal. He is also a director of Rocky Mountain Resources Limited, Gower Oil and Gas Limited, G-Gas Energy Limited and San Sum Oil and Gas.
